Job Description
- Install, configure, maintain & monitor all end-user hardware (PC’s, printers, devices, etc.).
- Install, configure, maintain & monitor all end-user software applications (Windows, MS Office, Outlook, etc.).
- Monitor all network and server activities (daily, weekly and monthly control reports).
- Log and record all system changes and maintain records.
- Participate in Infrastructure projects with the Infrastructure Project Leader.
- Work with system administrator for data backup and restore procedures.
- Perform as the first point of contact for all end user IT assistance requests.
- Maintain Records for all requests, track until resolution and archive for future reference using company helpdesk tool.
- Resolve all first level IT assistance requests in following areas;
- Basic support on in-house Business Applications system (Oracle…etc.).
- MS Office 365/ 2016 / 2019 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience in Exchange / Outlook 365, Windows.
- Configuration and maintenance of multifunction Printer (HP, Xerox, etc.).
- Remote access tools.
- SharePoint End user troubleshooting.
- Audio Video Conferencing.
- Laptop and computer general usage.
- Network troubleshooting.
- Active Directory 2008 /2013 (Server and Client).
- End user level Proxy management.
- Windows File server management (quota, rights, etc.).
- Cisco IP Phones, VoIP.
- Smart printing.
- Escalate IT issues for resolution where appropriate and in accordance with the Helpdesk policy.
- Communicate service outage / disruption notices to users that are affected by the outage.
- Maintain service records for maintenance carried out.
- Manage IT hardware inventory from purchasing to destruction.
- Help the management with IT Budget process and manage actual expenses while monitoring budget impacts.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related degree
- Years of Experience: 3-5 years
- Language: Arabic & English
- Computer skills: Microsoft office
- MS Windows System Support experience.
- A background in Networking and Cisco knowledge – LAN / WAN and Wireless.
- A detailed understanding of core internet technologies – Routing and Switching, DNS, DHCP, mail transport, OSI Model.
- Telecom knowledge including VOIP / SIP and mobile technologies advantageous.
- Cisco knowledge – LAN / WAN and Wireless.
