Job Description

  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and legislations and their updates
  • Executing the Country DE&I agenda
  • Enabling a healthy ER environment in country via implementation of the country engagement plan
  • Arranging for the local Crisis Management exercises in collaboration with the different functions and roles
  • Support on ER related projects and initiatives such as (Cost Recovery, Company setup and the recovery of the expats out pension funds contributions)
  • Champion continuous improvement of processes and interfaces across the Egypt HR team
  • Coach and upskill Advisors in the HR Operations team supporting Egypt for a smooth and accurate level of support to the country.
  • Manage all recruitment activities for franchised countries under the Egypt cluster (currently for Saudi Arabia).
  • Act as the local focal point for all resourcing activities
  • Processes & Systems
  • Responsible for ensuring accurate personnel records are maintained in Workday (including those of expats out).
  • Ensure employees’ files are effectively managed and maintained in alignment with labor law and social insurance requirements.
  • Support LMs with Workday business processes, system changes and actions as needed.
  • Manage onboarding and offboarding activities of all local staff, including related documentation and system actions.
  • Act as the local focal point for transfers of local staff.
  • Provide periodical reports to the HR Consultants
  • This position will handle the above activities for all countries under the Egypt cluster (Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Russia, Jordan and Libya).

Job Requirements

  • 5 – 7 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably with experience in Policy & ER/IR areas
  • Demonstrated skill in Business partnering / Stakeholder Management
  • Demonstrated skill in Data Management: Strong data management and HR Reporting Tool skills- a sound understanding of HR Processes- a drive for Continuous Improvement- project experience
  • The ideal candidate must be independent and analytical thinker; willing to challenge established thinking- able to advocate global standards while also representing the local requirements.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines. 
  • Proactively look for continuous improvement opportunities. 
  • Strong focus on collaborative working within team, and can work with local and global stakeholders in multiple area, as well as the ability to work with complexity in terms of organization and stakeholder engagement
  • Solid verbal and written communication skills required, including business writing skills
  • Experience working with confidential and sensitive information and maintaining integrity of data
  • Able to engage and enable dialogue with business professionals at all levels of the organization, projecting a positive and credible representation of the HR Function
  • Experience in working with confidential and sensitive information and maintaining integrity of data
  • High proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
