Job Description
- Monitor accounts to identify outstanding debts
- Follow-up for collecting company receivables ( via calls, email, SMS, etc.)
- Investigate historical data for each debt or bill
- Find and contact clients to ask about their overdue payments
- Take action to encourage timely debt payments
- Process payments and refunds
- Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status
- Update account status records and collection efforts
- Resolve billing and customer credit issues
- Assess clients’ financial status
- Contact clients to gather financial data and documentation
Job Requirements
- Holder of degree in Accounting, Banking and Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 1-2 yrs. proven work experience as a Collection Specialist or similar role
- Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques (e.g. skip tracing)
- Familiarity with laws related to debt collection
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP & CRM databases (Salesforce, ZOHO)
- Comfortable working with targets
- Must have excellent communication skills (written and oral) both in English and Arabic
- Skilled in negotiation
- Ability to create and process financial spreadsheets
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Self-starter with ability to work independently across functional groups and on multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Must be flexible to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
