Job Description
- Divisionally (Retail Banking and Wealth Management) aligned and responsible for the implementation of Data Privacy & Protection requirements to adhere to local/external regulatory needs such as CPP, GDPR etc.
- Implementation of Data Access & Sharing Controls Framework, Exception handling methodology and Regular monitoring measures.
- Manage 4 dimensions of Data Privacy for Retail Banking and Wealth Management.
- Conceptualization and implementation of Framework for Consumer Marketing Preferences across all banking & marketing channels in accordance to regulatory guidelines.
- Creation of Marketing data-mart and a process to retain database level assessments of customer suitability and appropriateness for sales & marketing offers across all products (target base generation)
- Documentation of data policies, procedures and control measures and ensure satisfactory audit reviews
- · Create a training plan on data control framework and deliver the same in co-ordination with L&D. To be embedded into annual training programs.

- Conduct annual review of Access Control Framework effectiveness, exceptions and possible enhancements. Findings to be shared with Senior Management.
- Support the Data Privacy Officer at ENBD group level with the execution of Data Privacy strategy requirements for Retail Banking and Wealth Management.
- Stay up-to-date with latest regulatory requirements, remain highly trained and proactively deliver the data privacy needs.
- Perform regular Housekeeping activities and access tracking through insightful dashboards, share insights with senior management.
Job Requirements
- Bachelors/ Masters Degree in Information Management, Computer Science & Engineering, or equivalent degree from an accredited academic institution.
- Good understanding and proficiency in Data & Information Management domain and required tools & technologies
- Around 5-7 years of post-qualification experience in Data & Information Management domain, Data Privacy, GDPR domains
- Sound Retail Banking Professional with strong experience in implementing robust data management solutions for financial organizations
- Multi Market Experience Preferred
- Strong experience in implementing major data initiatives
- Demonstrated expertise in Data Privacy, Industry Regulations, DWBI, Data Governance, Data Quality, Master Data Management, Real-time Analytics, Big Data Integration, Marketing Automation & Data Management Platform domains
- Robust knowledge of data, systems and analytical tools like SAS and SQL is must. Proven ability to quickly learn new systems and data environments
- Preferred knowledge in HADOOP & SAP HANA platforms
- Ability to work with large data sets and multiple data sources
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to understand business needs & how data information transformations can best address those needs
- Self-Starter in taking initiatives and follow through
- Strong analytical mind with a problem solving approach with good and ability to manage multiple priorities
