Job Description
- Manages strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of Head of strategy.
- Propose and implement initiatives to the bank’s strategy to adapt with global and regional trends in banking and the financial services industry.
- Assist in generating, developing, evaluating and assessing strategic options and follow through with their adoption.
- Assess the bank’s various strategic projects including and incorporating the daily administrative activities related to ensure their alignment with the bank’s goals.
- Collaborate with Management in the effective development of both short and long term plans.
- Co-ordinate and supports internal business stakeholders in the implementation of strategic initiatives
- Perform as a forward looking internal consultant to senior management; contribution with ideas and recommendations to deal with issues across areas of the business in addition to alerting management with advantageous opportunities and/or threats based on an analysis of internal and external factors.
- Conduct market research on a macroeconomic level to analyse trends in the banking industry and monitor changes in the map of the global economy.
- Monitor new technologies in development, changes in customer needs or tastes, population growth, new competitors entering the market.
- Develop a Peers Bank study assessing the bank’s financial position and incorporating competitor’s data to analyse the trends and changes in the bank’s performance
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics or a related field. -related certifications are considered an asset (Financial management, business development field).
- 7: 10 years of experience in similar Field, Preferred exposure in strategic planning.
- Excellent command of English and Arabic languages (written and spoken)
- Excellent leadership, decision making and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent planning and organizing skills
- Excellent Business Acumen of external market and up-to date market trends and practices
