Job Description
- Promote HSE corporate policies among the Company and 12 Golden Rules.
- Reinforce implementation of return of experience.
- Take all necessary actions to maintain the TRIR below the objective of the affiliate.
- Use of stop card, report all near misses to maintain high culture of HSE reporting in HR teams.
- Manage all human resources activities including selection and recruitment, training, compensation and benefits, career development and young graduates’ program.
- Prepare and forecast a budget for all human resources activity including contracted staff.
- Control payroll administration and reporting on a monthly basis and liaise with finance for reconciliation.
- Monitoring and controlling the expenses.
- Design compensation policies integrating local parameters.
- Update the management on the evolution of the Labor Law in the country.
- Analyze, manage, and control the development and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits policies.
- Contributes to the development of the company’s policy and to ensure that the company’s HR/OMI procedures are respected.
- Monitor the implementation of the Code of Conduct among the organization in terms of HR.
- Participates with the departments’ managers to identify their needs of staff in order to prepare Recruitment Plan.
- Coordinate career path of all employees with the management to identify and forecast the needs of the organization.
- Report to the local authorities and to head office in Paris any personnel issues.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, psychology and/or sociology with an overall 15 years of experience & 10 years of experience in HR and managerial duties, advanced Business degree is highly recommended.
- Fluency in English and preferably with high level of French.
- Corporate finance skills are required for preparing and follow up of the HR budget.
- Very strong interpersonal skills. Ability to build a team spirit within the company.
- Experience of working with large multi-site and multi-national companies to deliver skills solutions, contributing to budget delivery and growing the business in line with projected Growth.
- Proven successful track record in human resources management, with an understanding of the strategic approach to long term objectives.
- Previous experience of leading a large multi-skilled team, with the ability to coach, guide and be a knowledge base in human resources & communication.
- Strong communication skills both internally and externally, with the ability to influence and debate at senior levels,
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, and coordination of people and resources.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Strong business sense and industry expertise.
- Able to identify risky situations within the context of one’s activity and warns the relevant services (HSEQ, Operations).
