Job Description
- All corporate actions are processed and voluntary corporate actions are notified to customers/RMs well before the deadline
- Customer electives for voluntary corporate actions are updated in the custodian’s application as per instructions received
- Ensuring all MI reports for Business, Quality and Sales Governance are compiled within the agreed TAT
- Periodically assist in the training of the new staff in the team
- Assist in revision of SOPs for all related processes
- Promptly revert to customer and RM queries
- Ensuring ONR MI is sent on a daily basis and ageing items are escalated
- Ensuring all reconciliations are completed on time and exceptions are identified
- Processing transactions accurately and timely
- Exception Identification
- Training & Testing
- Recommending additions and modifications to Process/Policy/SOP
- Recommending improvements in operational procedures and risk areas from time to time
- To interact on daily basis with the:
- Internal staff within the the team
- Team Leaders
- Relationship Managers
- Internal compliance
- Sales and Branch staff in the absence of the team leader/Assistant Manager
- Process all trades with strict adherence to SOP
- Escalation of exceptions to Manager
- To ensure compliance to specified procedure
- Ensure error free processing of cases
- Review of the Quality reports and collectively review the corrective action plans
- Approval of cases under delegated approval authorities
Job Requirements
- Graduate with 2-3 years work experience in Securities Operations
- Excellent analytical skills
- Sound interpersonal skills
- Good PC skills, with advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Ability to problem solving and work independently
- Should be customer focused and achievement oriented
