Job Description

  • Work as part of a team to perform operational, financial, and investigative audits and management advisory services.
  • Assists in conducting field work in accordance with audit programs and test plans.
  • Prepares engagement work papers to adequately document the results, in accordance with the Mazars internal audit manual and methodologies.
  • Provides periodic status updates in a timely manner to the project manager.
  • Conducts testing of audit steps listed in the audit programs.
  • Assist in preparing reports and recommendations, improvements in policies, procedures and internal controls.
  • Completes testing of audit steps listed in the audit programs.
  • Consistently communicates progress and difficulties encountered on assignments.
  • Initiates and develops relationships with consultants and clients as part of an assignment role.
  • Responds promptly to clients’ requests or inquiries.
  • Demonstrates willingness to learn and capacity for growth by embracing challenges.
  • Uphold the Mazars’s code of ethics and business conduct.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Member or finalist of professional qualification preferred such as CIA, CA, ACCA or equivalent
  • 2+ years of relevant experience (Experience in a risk advisory role is preferred)
  • Knowledge of the IIA Standards for the professional practice in Internal Auditing
  • Knowledge of proper audit procedures, techniques and internal controls including the following:
  • Understanding of Internal Audit Plan and Risk Assessment, Risk management, Internal Audit Methodology, Internal Audit Reporting Skills
  • Good analytical skills, organizational ability and judgment required.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with tact and diplomacy, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to make clear presentations
  • Ability to efficiently manage time and workload
  • Ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work as a contributing team member in a professional manner
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
