Job Description
- The Promotion Officer will be working in the promotion section at the Embassy to promote Swedish Egyptian relations in several fields, including investment, trade, entrepreneurship, education and public diplomacy.
- Developing and implementing the Embassy’s activities related to trade promotion as well as public affairs, including through project/event management and administration
- Assisting with political and economic research and reporting
- Establishing and maintaining networks and contacts with trade and business sector representatives in key institutions and organizations
- Contribute to the Embassy’s outreach planning, including writing press releases, creating social media posts and writing coverage reports
- Other tasks as requested by the Head of Mission
Job Requirements
- University degree in Business, Economics, Political science, international law or any other relevant field
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Arabic
- Possesses solid political and analytical skills and is capable of analyzing problems from different angles
- A self-starter and able to work independently and in teams
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Motivation to promote Swedish values
- Experience of working in a multicultural environment or understanding of international relations are considered an advantage
