Job Description
- Reporting to our CEO Egypt entity, and our Global CFO, you will be dealing with large numbers and volumes of data
- Managing accounts receivables and accounts payables and maintaining records of clients’ relations and statuses
- Liaise with the Financial Planning & Analysis to develop and communicate the budget guidelines
- Record, classify, and report financial transactions and events in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Preparing financial statements and budgets
- Building budget as well as performing monthly variance analysis, and reviewing with P&L
- Management accounting and daily/ monthly/ quarterly controls
- Contribute to the development of financial reports to determine forecasts, trends, and results analysis and provide financial support for various units
- Ensuring tax and local entity compliance in the markets we operate in by staying informed on related government regulations
- Review the accuracy of financial reports and ensure cash payments are within approved budgets
- Manage ALM, Tax Reporting
- Automating manual month-end tasks and working with data teams to tweak data pipelines for a more efficient process
Job Requirements
- Degree Holder or any equivalent qualification
- CA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent preferred
- At least 8 years experience of which 4 years in a Financial Brokerage firm in Egypt
- Excellent English news writing skills (reporting and editing)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong Excel skills, including financial modeling
- Must be familiar with local Egyptian market systems
- Highly organized individual with strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of financial services products, fintech, and derivatives industries is a plus
