Job Description

  • Handle all support activities for the ADI microfinance backend networks support to insure having the optimum reliability and performance for all service running over ADI Microfinance back end network. Proactively identify all chronic issues and arrange with the implementation team for the proper remediation action plan
  • Provide regular statistical reports indicating the overall network health, faced challenges and required modifications to minimize network issues to the minimum
  • One of the key functions is to coordinate with all service providers a regular meetings to insure we have optimum service level according to the agreed SLA
  • Responsible for applying ADI Microfinance standards to the data centres and branches IT rooms network infrastructure components to insure highest level of availability to all running service
  • Advice for any required enhancement to accelerate problem discovery and arrange for the required tools with related IT teams.
  • Monitor performance of network / Voice components to identify potential problems and performance bottlenecks, advice for the corrective actions for any problem.
  • Diagnoses and resolves LAN/WAN and voice problems.
  • Provides technical guidance to Service and Support staff, Application Development staff or less experienced network support engineers
  • Provide data & voice networks health status reports.
  • Manage New cabling system design and implementations
  • Manages the day-to-day operation and problem-solving so that a team meets the agreed SLAs
  • Managing the service provider’s deliverables quality and agreed SLA through scheduled meetings.
  • Install, troubleshoot WAN problems with ISPs and plan for corrective actions when needed

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree of communication engineering or equivalent education.
  • 5+ experience in networking and cloud support
  • Developed, implemented, and maintained network infrastructure.
  • Developed and implemented strategies for maintaining server infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in project management techniques and process
  • Certification in, or demonstrable knowledge of, ITIL or comparable IT service management methodologies.
  • Strong technical skills designing, developing, implementing Infrastructures utilizing Hosting Services technologies / platforms
  • Very good understanding of storage technologies and networking
  • Understanding of relational databases and query tools
  • Very good understanding of storage technologies and networking
